This farm’s transport act dates back to the 1700’s. The words La Folie, translated from French, means ‘the madness’ and for owners Nico and Anita Breed, their first few years on the farm have proven to be quite crazy. With their lifelong aspiration of living on a farm, it was a dream come true to take ownership of the 30 hectares which constitutes the farm on 31 October 2007. We still have a long way to go, but the farm La Folie is slowly being developed into a boutique wine and olive farm offering tourism opportunities with our recently launched La Folie green cottage.
